About

Building useful systems from the ground up.

Travis Labs is where I build practical AI tools, thoughtful web interfaces, backend systems, and local infrastructure designed to work as one.

This project started toward the end of February 2026 with a simple question: How do I run something like ChatGPT locally? That question quickly turned into an obsession. Once the model was running, the focus shifted — from getting it to work, to seeing how far it could be pushed. Could it be shaped to think and respond in a way that feels more like me?

That line of thinking became the foundation for the AI Twin — but it’s only the starting point. Travis Labs is being built as something broader: a growing collection of experiments, tools, and systems that evolve over time, with many more projects still ahead.

The approach here is hands-on and iterative: connect the pieces, test the real path, and keep refining until the system is solid, useful, and dependable.
